Mediocre Politics in Zimbabwe

With more pressing issues to deal with our politicians have the audacity to delve into the Prime Minister's irrelevant private affairs. It all began with the Prime Minister's alleged marriage to one Locadia Karimatsenga in November which the ill-advised chief alleges is taboo in who knows whose tradition. and now everyone is mired in this debate. These green bombers masquarading as chieffs should never be given any space to take our earnest people for a ride. I'm equally shocked Tsvangirai had the courtesy to respond to this attention seeking chief Negondo's summons. Vana Bob pavaihura nana Grace Sally arimupenyu hatina kumbonzwa nezve masummons. It is a fact that Tsvangirai holds public office and as such his private affairs will be of interest to the public but leave that to the media and the politicians have no take in it. Suffice to say Negondo is a ZANU PF activist masquarading as a chief. Either he knows very little about his jurisdiction or he has been well paid that any ethics (if any in the chiefdoms) cease to exist.

One feels there is no better time than the present to review the system of traditional governance in Zimbabwe. Time and civilisation have rendered these chiefs virtually irrelevant in our social dispensation. Besides being ZANU PF pawns for untimidating the general populace, they are now a useles lot. these chiefs have been terrorising the rural folk for far too long and now they heve moved a gear up to threaten the office of the Prime Minister.Culture should be dynamic and change is inevitable. Chief Negondo should be told to go to Hell and he should not leave Bob behind.
