World Cup starts on a slow note with a big disapointment for African teams
The world cup has started on a slow note with unexpectedly below par performances by most teams. Most notably is Africa's big disapointment. While most teams have been less than convincing in the middle of the park, the big guns like German, Argentina and Netherlands have been able to post positive results. The world's biggest event kicked off in African style with the Host South Africa managing a draw against Mexico. Although most locals expected nothing short of victory, they were soon content with the draw. Now hopes for Africa are pinned on Ghana who have manged to post a win in their opening game against Serbia. With Brazil and Spain yet to play, the tournament winners remain anyone's guess.

why women live longer than men
the reason why women live longer than men has been mainly attributed to the male hormone which increases levels of harmful cholestorol, raising a man's chances of getting heart disease or stroke. Literally sperm genes have a detrimental effect on lifespan in mammals. So shed off as much as you canwhile men die from their diseases women live with them.

Terre Blanche And Apartheid
While Terre Blanche's death should only be seen in light of industrial relations, his dark apartheid past has cast light at the end of the tunnel and has enabled society to debate one of the current problems bedevling the South African society - Malema and his rhetorics.
Objectively looking at Blanche's death it is quite clear the cause was one of poor employer-employee relations and anyone who is trying to link his death to Malema's "Kill the Boer" song is only trying to make political mileage at anunfortunate incident. That Blanche was a blood racist who treated his workers with gross inhumanitis unquestionable. And for the media ant the political leaders to try and score cheap political points by showing concern for a known racist is dishearteningtosay the least. Instead what we should have heard out of this unfortunate incident is a clamour todiscourage peaple fromtaking the law into their own hands. Even if Blanche was black He would probably have met his end this way. Now the attention should be given back to Malema. While we have found no link between Malema and Blanche's death, what was mos apparent was that the man's hate speechees has created so much discontent in the country. And if he doesnt shut up innocent people will end up dead. so to Malema If you have nothing to say just shut up

Homosexuality obsceneties
Where is this world headed to? Listening to jacaranda fm this morning I was astounded to hear the dj anounce that gay marriage is now legal in Mexico and people are celebrating. What baffled me was not that gay marriage had been legalized, since this is the trend worldwide, but rather that people are celebrating such obsceneties. This is tantamount to celebrating the new Sodom and Gomor
